Thoughts: Hotel Glasgow Monceau.

Hotel: Hotel Glasgow Monceau

Where: Paris

Stay: Heather, Mum and I stayed 3 nights for Mum’s 50th birthday.

When: April 2015. The weather was pretty cold at this time of the year, definitely pack an umbrella!

3 words: Small, Nice, Modern,

Staff: Absolutely lovely, very helpful!

Food: The continental style breakfast buffet was perfect! Croissants, pain au chocolate, french toast with nutella cereal, fruit, yogurts, cheese, ham baguettes, all my favourites.

Travel Links: 5 minute walk to the nearest metro station and then 15 minutes to the centre of Paris. 18 euro taxi from the Airport (per person).

Amenities: Free WIFI with good signal strength (We were on the top floor connected with 3 phones an ipad and a laptop and it still worked fine, if a little slow in the evenings) Tea, coffee, hot chocolate was available all day. And croissants! (sometimes)

Nearby: Bars and Restaurants, small supermarkets, chemists,

(Auberge Bistro was a 2 minute walk away from the hotel and had really good food. Also Aux Merveilleux de Fred, a French patisserie round the corner, I don’t think I’ve ever tasted anything so delicious!)

Perfect for: Small Trips, Couples, Individuals wanting to see Paris.

Cleanliness: The Hotel was spotless and provided a very good room cleaning service.

Service: The 24 hour English speaking reception service was very helpful.

Stay Again: Yes! I’d like to bring Graeme here now I’ve learnt how to navigate the metro system and tried and tested some of the restaurants and cafes in the area. A nice little spot.

Look out for the rest of my Paris photos on the blog soon.
