Hello! I’m Emma, I live in sunny Bolton, close to Manchester in the North West of England and have been a wedding photographer for 5 years now.
Wedding photography really is a dream job for me. I get to spend half my time with lovely couples on one of the happiest days of their lives and I get to spend the other half of my time working from home in my PJs. It’s pretty special!
Being a Northwest wedding photographer I get to work at some awesome northern venues as well as lots more throughout the UK. That’s not to say if you’re planning a destination wedding in Barbados you can’t take me with you! Please, pleeease take me with you!
My photography style would be best described as documentary (or ‘reportage’ if you want to sound posh). This means that I let you and your guests enjoy the day as it happens and I capture all the good stuff as we go along!
When I’m not shooting weddings or editing in my office you’ll find me curled up at home with my partner Graeme and our utterly bonkers spaniel, Pepper. We’ll be binge watching whatever TV show we’re obsessed with at the moment (hello, Line of Duty!) or out walking, camping or travelling the length and breadth of the country one Tea Room at a time.
If you would like to know more about me and my style of photography please have a browse through my blog. There are a mixture of personal and wedding related posts on there which will give you to get a better sense of who I am and how I work.
If you feel like I might be the photographer for you please get in touch and see if your date is available. I would love to hear from you!
